Jeremiah 31:13-15

New American Standard Bible

¹³ Then the virgin will rejoice in the ^(A)dance,
And the young men and the old together;
For I will ^(B)turn their mourning into joy
And comfort them, and give them ^(C)joy for their sorrow.
¹⁴ I will refresh the soul of the priests with ^[a]abundance,
And My people will be ^(D)satisfied with My goodness,” declares the Lord.

¹⁵ This is what the Lord says:
“^(E)A voice is heard in ^(F)Ramah,
Lamenting and bitter weeping.
Rachel is weeping for her children;
She ^(G)refuses to be comforted for her children,
Because ^(H)they are no more.”
